Emotional Resilience And Mindfulness with Ellyn Bader, PhD & Caroline S. Welch
Simultaneous demands and unrealistic expectations -–imposed on our ourselves and our relationships – often create stress and anxiety. What can be done to build resilience and reduce stress? While we can’t control others or events, we can control how we choose to respond through a calm, clear, open state of mind called mindfulness or presence. This receptive state of mind can also help our clients navigate emotional triggers in their relationships and live with more clarity and purpose. Purpose begins with mindfulness, and provides direction for our lives, thereby creating meaning. The health benefits of both presence and purpose are so prevalent that if they were medications we would call them miracle drugs.
Join us as we discuss Caroline’s new book, “The Gift of Presence”.
